Lies Willaert

Lies has been partner and project manager at OYO since 2012, and has over 18 years of experience in the phases of design, project management, implementation and EPB study of several commercial and industrial projects. During her employment for Quemas, ROOT architects and OYO, she was also involved in design and project management of numerous single and multi-family houses. After obtaining her degree in Architecture at Sint-Lucas, Ghent, she followed multiple additional training courses on EPB, renewable energies, thermal bridges, timber frame construction, airtight construction and building nodes. Currently, Lies is project manager of, among others, the execution of the masterplan Sportpark Olivier 3.0 in Knokke, the football infrastructure in Jabbeke and the town hall in Jabbeke. Besides architecture Lies is also inspired by travel, she loves to explore wild nature and local cuisine, and tries to include some sports in daily life. But what she really misses in covid-times is being surrounded by friends.
