Nigel Jooren

Nigel is founding partner and creative director at OYO. He graduated from the LUCA School of Arts, Ghent and received his Master’s in Architecture, cum laude, after a final year at Kyushu University in Fukuoka (JP). His graduation project embraced topics such as city branding and place-making. After graduating he set course for Denmark where he worked for renowned agencies such as EFFEKT and BIG until 2011. He has worked on numerous projects on various scales for clients and competitions in Denmark, Estonia, Taiwan and South Korea. In 2011 Nigel Jooren returned to Belgium to eventually establish OYO.
