Bike your way into the city centre

OYO contributes to the bicycle urbanism strategy of Ghent by designing this safe connection between two important districts in our home city. The bridge connects the Zuiderpoort to the Stropkaai, providing a more pleasant and safe route for hundreds of cyclists who want to enter the city centre.

Cyclists and pedestrians will have access to the bridge via three mild access ramps, one of which will be in the public green space alongside the river. This future park will connect bike paths throughout the city.
